Most Precious Blood Catholic School: A community empowering faithful leaders.
Mission Statement
Most Precious Blood School is a Catholic community empowering students to reach their highest potential through instruction and practice of the Catholic faith, in academics, personal growth, and social responsibility.
Our Philosophy
We believe each student is a valued member of the community. Teachers and staff facilitate a safe and accepting environment where students are encouraged to be involved in the learning process. Our school is centered on the growth and development of each person. Most Precious Blood offers a supportive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, mutual respect, social responsibility, and personal growth. As both a Catholic institution and a neighborhood school, we welcome students of all backgrounds.

Our Location
Located in southeast Denver at the corner of South Colorado Boulevard and East Iliff Avenue, MPB is close to I-25, the University of Denver, and the University Hills shopping area. Nestled in Denver’s Observatory Park, University Park, University Hills, Cory-Merrill neighborhoods, MPB’s balanced curriculum of lessons and liturgy draws students from many Denver metro area zip codes.
Our History
Opening hearts, minds, and doors for more than 60 years. Most Precious Blood School, affectionately known to its devoted community as MPB, mirrors the traditions and practices of Most Precious Blood Parish. Opening its doors in 1952, the parish was founded in the spirit of the Archdiocese of Denver Daughters of Charity. Combining its rich history and traditions with the best practices of the present, MPB offers a spiritual home and inspiring launch pad to prepare students for an enriching future.
