We strive to make the admissions process at MPB as easy and enjoyable as possible. Most families begin the process with a personal tour hosted by either a school administrator or our student tour guides. Prospective students are then invited to spend a day with their future classmates. The day will include STAR screening to gain a sense of the student’s abilities.

Applications for K-8 are accepted throughout the year with registration packets being sent in the spring. We will request the necessary paperwork for our files including transcripts, sacramental records, and medical forms. We look forward to welcoming your family to MPB!

For more information about the K-8 MPB school or to arrange a tour, we invite you to submit an inquiry from here or email Alyssa Sanchez in the Main Office at asanchez@mpbdenver.org.

Applications for ELC are accepted starting in January. Look for the MPB Early Learning Center open house in January, we take applications till all classes are filled.  Class fill quickly, however, we are always happy to put you on a waiting list.  We look forward to welcoming your family to MPB Early Learning Center!

Short Answer: We educate the whole person.

Long Answer:

Why Catholic schools? It is a question we like to hear. Catholic education is more than an academic education. Catholic schools provide education rooted in Christ and the development of the individual. Yes, Catholic schools offer first-rate academics filled with rigorous course-work, problem solving and experiential learning. And, we are more than that.

Catholic schools educate the whole person. Beyond the academics, children grow in faith, community, love, service, and personal values. Catholic schools foster religious and moral development in a world searching for direction and value. Our students are not merely our pupils; they are our hope for a better future. That is why it is essential that each student develops his/her own sense of self. This faith-filled environment instills high degrees of self-respect, self-confidence, and self-discipline among students. In schools, students learn the tools to successfully function in a modern but ever-changing society. The difference is that in Catholic schools, students learn how to use these tools to suit the greater good.

Catholic schools are essential to the health of the Church and our democracy- they nurture the soul of our nation. Alliance for Catholic Education

Catholic schools create the opportunity for future generations to be led by sound-thinking, moral individuals dedicated to Christ and his teachings. Ultimately, Catholic education should prepare students to be good stewards of God’s gifts and active people of faith who serve others, make a difference in the world, and participate in their faith and civic communities. The secular world is torn in so many different directions that wrong and right are beginning to blur. Our nation needs a foundation of justice, peace, and love to stand upon. Catholic schools are the seeds we need to realize this vision. It is your choice to sow them.

While our official registration process takes place in the spring, applications are accepted throughout the year.  Below you’ll find the necessary steps and documents to begin the process of enrolling your child in our positive, challenging, and academic program with all the benefits of a Christian community. Each child and each family who joins the MPB community brings many blessings. Our focus on training the leaders of tomorrow using the Seven Habits of Effective People is an exciting new venture which promises to bring the best of your child out in these early formative years.

Please read the enclosed information carefully and return your application as soon as possible. Tuition rates will be determined by the end of February and will be published before registration packets are sent.

These are the steps to the MPB registration process:

1) Application: This is an online process through FACTS.  The link below allows prospective families to visit, inquire, and apply to MPB School; please complete and return the MPB School Application.  There is a non-refundable application fee of $72.00 per student.  If your child attends the Most Precious Blood Early Learning Center or another private school, all accounts must be current for your application to be accepted.

2) Shadowing: All students in grades 1-8 may shadow if this would be a helpful aspect in making a family decision about the school that fits your child best. Contact Alyssa Sanchez (asanchez@mpbdenver.org) in the Main Office to arrange this prior to arrival.

3) Screening: All students will be contacted to arrange a date and time before screening after applications are accepted. Kinders can be accepted prior to screening.

4) Enrollment: Once your child has been screened, has shadowed (if appropriate), and your family has received an enrollment acceptance letter, you will be asked to enroll; additional forms and fees will be required at this time.

Families seeking to enroll children with in-parish status at Most Precious Blood Catholic School must be active members of the parish for at least six months prior to applying for this status. An active member of the parish is defined by a)regular attendance at parish worship; b)consistent, identifiable offertory support of parish ministries; and c)regular, ongoing involvement in one or more parish ministries or activities.
